  We found this restaurant while walking. The atmosphere looks so nice so decided to try next time. And we did. The vibe was so beautiful as we expected. We started with the bread and butter which were nice and soft. Empanadas made of bean were amazing. We wanted to order second plate. The other dishes were all good including dessert. Also, you can enjoy the city view from the seat. It's one of the big parts in this restaurant.

  The Butler came highly recommended to us, and we are so glad it was, definitely lived up to the hype. Classy and understated, with an amazing view, and surrounded by plants so you don't feel like you are in the middle of bustling Potts Point. The food was sensational. We opted for the banquet which was great bang for your buck. Delicious flavours, nothing disappointed! And contentedly full without feeling overstuffed. Service was friendly and attentive. A fab little restaurant and we hope to go back soon!

  We popped into this bar for a little drink for happy hour and it was lovely! The staff were great. The happy hour wine and beer were both nice and the margaritas were amazing! We got a beautiful view over the city at sunset which was nice too. The food looked good on other tables, we will be back to try for sure!

  The Butler exceeded my expectations. Two tiny doors outside lead into a small drinks lounge, but there is a wow experience as you move back and into the main dining area. Dropping down, the dining room opens up to a pretty spectacular dining area with an open back which gives spectacular views of the city. Cocktails list is gold, with a limited golden hour till 5:30. Food is spectacular and not your standard Mexican. Scallop Tostada is a must. There are layers of flavour and it’s awesome. Fried tortilla chips has this awesome crispy side / sauce that reminds me I of Chinese XO sauce in a great moorish way. Achiotte red rice is another highlight as is the Corel trout. Definitely a worthwhile visit and worth checking out. Great for a chill dinner or a date.

  Simply cannot fault the service & atmosphere. It’s fantastic. Everyone is super friendly and has a smile on their face. The food just does not deliver in flavour. The portion sizes for 4 (as shown in the pics) is really not great: the free flow is ok: the choice is ok but I wish they could offer a better package. I wish we had done a-la-carte.

  Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Sydney! I heard about the restaurant through some friends and was really excited to try it. The food was next-level—fresh, flavourful, and plated beautifully. Every dish was absolutely delicious! The service was just as amazing. Huge shoutout to Thales and Alessandro for making us feel so welcome and taking care of us all night. The vibe was perfect—warm, inviting, and just right for anything from a casual hangout to a special night out. If you want incredible food, top-tier service, and an all-around great time, this is the spot. Can’t wait to be back!

  Long overdue review. My sister booked the Butler for my birthday lunch on a Sunday with a group of 5. We ordered a range of items from the menu. Serving sizes were decent and flavours were great. My favourite was the kingfish crudo. Lovely location however it does come with a menu which is more on the expensive side. Service was ok and while it was noted on the reservation that it was for a special occasion, there was no acknowledgment from staff throughout the lunch.

  Amazing Experience at The Butler! I had a fantastic dining experience at The Butler in Kings Cross. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and the service was exceptional. A special shout-out to Pam, who went above and beyond to make our evening special. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Her warm and professional approach truly elevated our experience. Highly recommend this place for great food, stunning views, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back! 😊🥰
